Are you dressed for success?

God’s Word says:

Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the sinful nature. (Romans 13v14).

Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator. Here there is no Greek or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all.

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. (Colossians 3v9-14.)

Clothe yourselves with humility towards one another, because, God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you. (1 Peter 5v5-7).

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the full armour of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. (Ephesians 6v10-18).

Remain in Me (Jesus), and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the Vine-Jesus is the true vine and His Father is the gardener. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in Me. (John 15v1-17).

So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in Him, rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith, and overflowing with thankfulness. (Colossians 2v6, 7).

I urge you, to be reconciled to God through Jesus Christ, that you may have life in abundance - for without Him you are going no-where!

Let us delight greatly in the Lord; our soul rejoices in our God. For He has clothed us with garments of salvation and arrayed us in a robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. For as the soil makes the sprout come up and a garden causes seeds to grow, so the Sovereign Lord will make righteousness and praise spring up before all nations. (Isaiah 61v10, 11), in Jesus name, Amen.
