Is Jesus your future?
God's word says:
The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned. For us a child is born, to us a son (Jesus) is given and the government will be on His shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on Davids throne (all Israel) and over His Kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The Zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this. (Isaiah 9v2,6,7 ).
Jesus says; “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always to the very end of the age. (Mathew 28v18-20).”
I tell you the truth no one can enter the Kingdom of God unless he is born of water (natural birth / water baptism), and the Spirit (born from above – through Jesus). (John 3v1-21)
Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshippers will worship the Father in Spirit and Truth, for they are the kind of worshippers the Father seeks. God is Spirit, and His worshippers must worship in Spirit and Truth. (John 4v23,24 ).
Jesus declares that HE gives us eternal life, and that we shall never perish. (John 10v28). People perish because they refuse to love the truth and so be saved. (2 Thessalonians 2v10b). The Lord is patient with you not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. (2 Peter 3v9).
For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come. This is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance – that we have put our hope in the living God who is the Saviour of all men/women, and especially of those who believe. (1 Timothy 4v8-10).
Choose this day whom you will serve – this is your future!
